Firstly welcome to our new blog, Producing Beats (We thought it sounded like a good rememberable name and if you've searched for an available web site domain address before you'll know how hard it is to find a decent sounding dot com name). Before we started this blog we've studied the current music production blogs on the internet and studying at what they are posting. We found that they were all swaying towards either gear, musicians news or giving their views about the state of the industry.

We felt there was still some room left for a more music production technique sort of blog and that's why this blog has been started. Currently to get hold of quality information about music production you're best bet is to either read a quality magazine or buy a book. Producing Beat is going to attempt to change that with regular posts, we might fail miserably but who cares.

We want to bring you free samples, link and discover VST plugins, link to videos, write tutorials and much more. So please excuse the rather empty site until we get writing.

Our philosophy is to make this site simple with a simple design, easy to read posts, easy to comment and even easier to browse. We've developed and will probably tweak as we go along a simple categorization technique which you can see on the left. This sorts out each post depending on where you are currently are with your music.
